I
thought that the beginning of the book was intriguing. The author was
able to pull me into the story right away but then began to lose me
after that due to the story becoming fairly slow paced and repetitive
with its information. I felt like I was being told the same tidbits of
information over and over again which didn't further the plot. I get it!
Tia spent time in prison and she wants revenge on the people that
betrayed her! I found this book so frustrating because it said a lot
while saying very little. I still have no idea what is going on with
anyone or anything after finishing it. I felt like all of the characters
were so hot and cold to the point that I couldn't comprehend what their
motivations were or their place in everything. I
didn't really like any of the characters because their flaws far
outweighed any good qualities that they may or may not have had. I understand that there is a part two to this so I hope that it shows improvement and actually answers some questions.
