I was surprised how quickly the identity of the captor was revealed in this final installment of the Letters in Blood trilogy. I can honestly say that I was surprised by the reveal. I didn't see it coming and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. It doesn't feel right to me.
There was actually a second reveal as well with the identity of the intruder from the end if the second book. I wasn't as surprised by who that turned out to be. I actually thought that person was the captor though so I guess I was a bit surprised by how I mixed things up.
I wish that the flow of the book wouldn't have been quite as quick. I didn't feel that I had time to soak in everything that was happening due to the rapid fire nature of the flow of the book.
